It might be awkward for the first few minutes! And that’s okay. But when you two have a second to settle, to laugh together (and, let’s be honest, at each other too), you’ll suddenly realize this photo thing isn’t so bad.

I’ve got a plan for that

Getting through the awkward is a big part of why all my weddings include engagement photos. Your engagement session is a great chance to get comfortable with me and the camera, and it’s a good opportunity for me to understand how you two like to be photographed.

When your wedding day arrives, I work hard to blend in with the group so I’m there … but I’m not. We’ve already worked together, remember? We’ll set a time to chat (over coffee, tea, or even a gin & tonic - I am English, after all) and get to know each other. I pour my expertise into working with you and your vendor team to plan wedding photography that speaks to your needs. You can also count on me to be a resource, a reliable presence, and a guide through the entire process.
I’ll use easy prompts to guide you through the day, but I’m not about stiff poses. My focus is on documentary-style photography, and I’m looking for real moments. Your portraits are a small slice of time to simply be together outside the craziness (and fun) of your wedding celebration.
I take pride in my craft and carefully, personally edit your images with an eye toward rich, true-to-life color. I’ll share a curated collection of the very best images from your day that tell your story as it naturally unfolded.
